My girlfriend and I took a trip back to our favorite city earlier this month. With the touristy things out of the way from my first visit, we were able to slow our pace down this time and enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes for longer than a New York minute. I was even introduced to other boroughs and its different ethnic pockets and neighborhoods with its own identities and flavors. I can say that New York City is definitely more than just Manhattan, and I love it even more now. The only borough I did not get to step foot in is Staten Island. That is a good enough reason that the next visit might be sooner than expected.
